That Moment

Throughout my pregnancy I often wondered what that moment would be like when Addy met her new baby brother or sister. I anticipated that moment with an excitement that's difficult to describe!! Addy spent 7 long months bonding with my belly, patiently waiting to meet this new baby. We had our moment tonight.

little hands touching a little head
little kisses, gentle kisses
he's here, he's here, right here, my brother
my baby brother
can I hold him?

right then I was full, I was complete

God, thank you for that one single moment in time
we were complete
we were all there so close together for that moment
